When will Texas Residential Rates see some needed competition? They all seem to price around 12 cents per KWh. Will this ever go down? I did see a rate of 10.8 cents per KWh on powertochoose.org from Amigo Energy but when looking further into it there is a fuel surcharge. This fuel surcharge goes into affect when natural gas prices rise or go down. It looks like natural gas prices are starting to go back up again so I don’t know how much longer this variable electric rate will be looking good.
